Environmentally Friendly Pottery Line -
So my aunt is a potter, and she’s been researching a way of firing her kiln that uses up less propane and is more environmentally friendly than the standard method of firing. However throughout the process of testing it to make it perfect, a lot of the pieces won’t be salable, and since pottery is her only source of income, she can’t afford it.
So she started a kickstarter project, where she can hopefully get enough donations to reach her $3800 goal by April 6. This new method of firing could help so much in going green and helping the environment, and the pottery is beautiful as well.
Here’s a ink to her blog, where she posts regular updates about her pottery, her firings, her glaze recipes, and occasionally her cats.
If you can’t donate, then please help spread the word because this means a lot to my aunt to be able to do what she loves but in a way that isn’t so damaging to the environment.
Also, she’s sending out thank you gifts to everyone who donates to her project!
Reblogging myself to get the word out~
